Agency Response & Dispute Policy

In plain language

Your remedy for a review you disagree with is a public response, shown right underneath it. You can also report a review to TSA, but you can never edit, hide or delete one.

Your right of reply

Every claimed agency can post one public response per review. It is published beneath the review, attributed to the agency, and screened against the Community Guidelines before it appears. You can update your response; you cannot post a thread of replies, because the review page is not a debate forum.

What a good response looks like

  • Address the substance: what happened, what you accept, and what you have changed.
  • Correct facts calmly and specifically rather than attacking the reviewer's credibility.
  • Offer a way to continue the conversation off-platform.
  • Keep it short. Readers judge tone as much as content.

What agencies must never do

  • Identify, guess at, or hint at the identity of an anonymous reviewer.
  • Publish client details, contract terms or private correspondence in a response.
  • Threaten legal action, or imply consequences for the reviewer, in a public response.
  • Contact a reviewer to pressure them to change or remove a review, or offer them anything to do so.
  • Solicit reviews in exchange for incentives, or ask staff to post as clients.
  • Create a member account to review your own agency or a competitor.

These cost you your status

Retaliation or attempted deanonymisation can result in losing profile management access and claimed or verified status, and the profile reverting to Listed.

Disputing a review with TSA

If you believe a review breaches the Review Guidelines — for example it is fabricated, from a competitor, or contains personal data — report it from your workspace with your reasons and any evidence.

  1. TSA opens a case. The review stays published while it is assessed.
  2. We may ask you for evidence, and may ask the reviewer to substantiate specific factual claims.
  3. We take the narrowest action that fits the finding.
  4. You are told the outcome. Disagreement with the outcome does not reopen the case unless there is new evidence.

Be realistic about outcomes

Most reported reviews stay up. Reporting is for policy breaches; a poor rating on a real engagement is not one, however commercially damaging it is.

Inviting reviews

You may invite clients, creators and staff to share their experience, provided you invite them all rather than only the happy ones, and provided you offer nothing in return and do not attempt to influence what they write.
