Terms of Service

In plain language

Use TSA honestly. Write about experiences you actually had, don't post other people's private information, and don't try to game ratings. TSA moderates content against published guidelines — not on request from the agency being reviewed.

1. Who we are

Trusted Shop Agency (“TSA”, “we”, “us”) operates trustedshopagency.com, an independent directory and review platform for the TikTok Shop agency ecosystem. TSA is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by TikTok or ByteDance.

These Terms form the agreement between you and TSA. By creating an account, submitting a review, claiming an agency profile, or otherwise using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use TSA.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to hold a TSA account. You must register with a real, working email address and verify it before you can publish content.

  • One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts to post additional reviews or votes.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your password secure.
  • Do not share, sell, or transfer your account, and do not use another person's account.
  • Agency staff may hold a personal member account and separately be approved to manage an agency workspace. These are different permissions.

3. Reviews and the content you post

You may only review an agency you have genuine first-hand experience with as a brand, creator, employee or contractor. Your review must describe your own experience, and you must be able to substantiate factual claims if TSA asks.

You keep ownership of what you write. By posting, you grant TSA a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute that content on and in connection with TSA, including after your account is closed, so that the public record of published reviews stays intact.

Criticism is allowed

A negative review is not a violation. TSA removes content for policy breaches — such as abuse, doxxing, or fabrication — never because an agency dislikes the rating.

Full standards are in the Review Guidelines, which form part of these Terms.

4. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • Post fake, incentivised, purchased, traded or solicited-with-reward reviews, whether positive or negative.
  • Review your own agency, an agency you work for or own, or a direct competitor.
  • Publish another person's private information — home address, personal phone number, ID documents, private messages containing personal data.
  • Post unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit or discriminatory content.
  • Use TSA to make legal threats, extort a refund, or pressure an agency by threatening to publish or withhold a review.
  • Impersonate a person, brand or agency, or misrepresent your relationship with an agency.
  • Scrape, bulk-download, resell or republish TSA data, or use automated systems to submit content or votes.
  • Attempt to identify an anonymous reviewer, or pressure anyone to reveal a reviewer's identity.
  • Interfere with the security or availability of the platform.

5. Moderation and enforcement

Content submitted to TSA is screened before publication and may be reviewed again after a report. TSA may decline to publish, remove, or restrict content that breaches these Terms or the Review and Community Guidelines, and may warn, suspend or close accounts for repeated or serious breaches.

Reporting a review never removes it automatically. Reports open a moderation case that is decided by TSA against the published guidelines. Where a review is removed, the author is told why and may appeal. See the Moderation Policy.

6. Agency profiles and claims

TSA researches and publishes agency listings independently. An agency may claim its profile by verifying a business email on the agency's own domain and passing TSA review. Claiming grants the ability to maintain profile information and respond publicly to reviews.

  • Claiming does not grant control over reviews, ratings, ordering or visibility.
  • Identity changes — agency name, legal name and profile URL — require TSA approval.
  • If you claim a profile you confirm you are authorised to act for that agency, and TSA may withdraw access if that turns out to be untrue.

Placement, ranking and search results are never for sale. See the Agency Claim & Verification Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The TSA name, logo, site design, structured data and software are owned by TSA. Agency names, logos and trade marks belong to their owners and are shown for identification and commentary. If you believe content on TSA infringes your rights, contact us with details of the material and your claim and we will investigate.

8. Disclaimers

Reviews are the personal opinions and reported experiences of the people who wrote them. They are not statements of fact by TSA, and TSA does not independently audit the commercial outcomes described in them.

TSA trust signals describe process, not quality. “Claimed” means a representative verified control of the profile. “Verified” means TSA checked specific evidence about the agency's identity. Neither is a recommendation, endorsement, guarantee of performance, or advice to hire.

TSA is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that listings are complete or error-free, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Choosing an agency remains your own commercial decision and you are responsible for your own due diligence.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, TSA is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or business, arising from your use of the platform or from any engagement you enter into with an agency you found through it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Suspension, closure and your data

You may close your account at any time from Settings. When you do, your profile and personal details are deleted. Reviews that were already published stay online but are permanently detached from your identity and shown as anonymous, so the public record is not distorted by removals. This is explained in the Privacy Policy.

TSA may suspend or close an account that repeatedly or seriously breaches these Terms. Where we do, we tell the account holder the reason unless we are prevented from doing so.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform develops. The current version and its effective date are shown at the top of this page, and material changes are announced to members in-product before they take effect. Continuing to use TSA after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the contact form or to support@trustedshopagency.com. We aim to reply within two business days.
